THE HOLO HOOKUP collaboration box for March 2017 : Swatches and Review

Hi there, my darlings! Can you believe it's already midway through February?! I've been in India almost 3 months! While I love being home and near family, I do miss the US...and all the wonderful friends I have left way over there. Call it nostalgia, call it sappiness, call it what you will but I miss my girls and that's why this month's THH struck a chord. Because it's all about inspirational women who have left their mark on history. Ok yes, definitely sappy but that's just me, I guess! So, back to business! The theme for March 2017's all-holo The Holo Hookup collaboration box featuring Jill of Glisten & Glow, Missi of Different Dimension, Sara of Cupcake Polish and special guests, the lovely ladies behind Ever After Polish is "Women Stamped In History". Take a look at their inspiration pic below!

Susan B. Anthony from Cupcake Polish is a "bright blue linear Holo with smooth Holo micro glitters". Smooth, easy formula and application--while the swatches below show 2 coats topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat, you could definitely get away with just one coat of this one! If you're like me and love vibrant colors, you'll flip for this beauty!

With flash!

Amelia Earhart from Different Dimension is a "brick red linear holo with added flakies". Absolutely lovely formula and application--the swatches below show 2 easy coats topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat to bring it all together. This gorgeous red is another one that you could get away with just one coat!

With flash!

Eleanor Roosevelt from Glisten & Glow is a "light army green linear holographic polish with added purple to blue shifting flakes and a very light dusting of red holo glitters". Fantastic application and formula--the swatches below show just 2 coats topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. Now, I don't usually do greens but this baby has 2 big things going for it--the utterly blinding holo and those beautiful little flakies! This one is a true chameleon and appears completely different under different lighting conditions--if you're into greens, just rest assured that you'll LOVE this one!

With flash!

Louisa May Alcott from Ever After Polish is a "light beige nude with pink flash". No complaints at all with the formula and application--the swatches below show just 2 easy coats, topped with 1 thin coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. Ever After makes the most dreamy nude holos and that pink flash is to die for!

  3. Wow, three months already! I remember your posts about leaving. As someone who moves a lot, I can definitely relate to missing old places. These holos certainly are gorgeous though! If I were better at nails (I seriously suck lol), I'd buy them all!

  6. They're all so pretty but I'd say the Louisa May Alcott is my pick from this box. I don't polish my own nails because I'm not coordinated enough. LOL!

  10. Natural magnificence is unified with attractive highlights and looking attractive naturally with no makeup. It implies your lips are beautiful with no lipstick or lip balm; your eyes are beautiful with no kajal or eye makeup, your face is sparkly with no reduced.
