Hi there, my darlings! So, very recently, Kim of Smokey Mountain Lacquers, asked me to be her main blogger and since I love working with Kim, of course, I said yes! What does that mean? That means lots of SMJ swatches on ColorSutraa in the future! Yay! Let's get started the party with Kim's upcoming Winter 2015 collection--7 pretty polishes perfect for the season.
Before we get started, let's talk quickly about the formula and application of these polishes! Across the board, regardless of the finish and unless mentioned specifically, each was easily opaque in 2 thin coats. I have no major issues to report with the formula or application of any of these polishes and the swatches below show 2 thin coats, topped with 1 thin coat of G&G's HK Girl to finish the look. With that out of the way, let's get to our favorite part--swatches!

I Pine For You is described as "a moss/fern green cream with subtle shimmer". Metallics are notorious for being streaky and brushstroke-y and generally a PITA to apply but this applied beautifully!
Mulled Cider is described as "a multi chrome that flashes from red to gold to purple". One of my favorites of this collection, this beauty is such a chameleon! Every turn of the hand makes it look different!

Cozy Inside is described as "a red jelly filled with copper and red holo glitter". I'm a sucker for reds and this beautiful sparkly red was another instant fave!
Winter Wonderland is described as "a medium blue cream with deep purple and blue shimmer". I love how the shimmers pop against the solid creme!

Licensed to Chill is described as "a silvery blue linear holo". This muted shade of blue is so dreamy!

Arctic Blast is described as "a white crelly with assorted blue and purple glitters". Such a pretty crelly, I really like the blue and purple against the bright white!
