JORDANA Playful Pastels collection : Swatches, Review and Nail Art!

Hi there, my darlings! This afternoon, I would like to share with you all my swatches of  a collection that I've been literally impatiently sitting on for months--Jordana Cosmetics' Playful Pastels collection. Why you ask? Well, as soon as I laid eyes on these pretty pastel shades, I knew they would be the perfect bases for some stamping nail art but alas! My Mundo de Unas order took a bit longer than expected to arrive! But arrive they did and I did exactly what I wanted to with these!

Before we get to swatches and the nail art I created, let's discuss the application and formula. The formula of these polishes, as with many pastels, tended to be a little streaky but the trick I learned courtesy of this article from The Trendy Nail is to use a matte topcoat to help tame streaks. As such, I used Butter London Matte Finish topcoat as a basecoat, applied 3 thin coats of each polish and topped off with Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. With that said, let's get to swatches!

Lively Lilac is a pastel lilac purple creme. Such a pretty purple!

Nail Art : Double floral stamping with Mundo de Unas Dark Purple and Bronze, topped with Butter London Matte Finish topcoat.

Baby Blue is a pastel light blue creme. So perfect for Spring!

Nail Art : Tonal floral stamping with Mundo de Unas Turquoise, topped with Butter London Matte Finish topcoat.

Merry Mint is a pastel moss green creme. Oh I know the green polish lovers are going to love this one!

Nail Art : Double floral stamping with Mundo de Unas Gold and Orange, topped with Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat.

Pink Petunia is a pastel light pink creme. I actually really liked how well this pink worked with my complexion!

Nail Art : Gradient floral stamping with Mundo de Unas Black and Reddish, topped with Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat.

Sunsational is a bright yellow creme. This one was hardly a pastel! So, so bright!

Nail Art : Dstressed floral stamping with Mundo de Unas Fuchsia, topped with Butter London Matte Finish topcoat.

Lively Lilac is a bright, almost neon white creme. This white is a great base for nail art!

Nail Art : Lacey floral stamping with Konad Black, topped with Different Dimension I Only Have ice For You and Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat.
