ZOYA BRIDAL BLISS 2018: Swatches and Review

Hi there, my darlings! Spring seems to be taking its own sweet time this year...I mean, come one, what's with this weather?! But, we're all looking forward to Spring...when it finally does arrive! Warmer weather, for sure, but for many of you, Spring might bring a different and more exciting kind of celebration--namely wedding season! Keeping all you brides-to-be in mind, Zoya Nail Polish and Treatment has curated a lovely collection of favorites that would be perfect for a Spring wedding!

The Bridal Bliss collection consists of 12 fan-favorite polishes in pretty light and neutral shades.  Across the board, I found the formula of just about all these polishes to be quite lovely--most of them are lighter shades, even pastels, so I used three coats to achieve the perfect, fully-opaque finish.  Unless specifically mentioned, all the swatches below show just 3 thin coats of each polish by itself on the index and ring fingers and 3 coats plus 1 thin coat of topcoat on the middle and pinkie fingers, for the sake of comparison.

Snow White is described as "a pure white creme that's as clean and bright as freshly-fallen snow". The perfect, bright white to match  white bridal gown!

Rue is described as "a full-coverage, boudoir blush cream". I love how flattering this nude is!

Blu is described as "a full-coverage, soft and delicate pale baby blue with a glossy creme finish".If you need a "something blue", look no further!

Avril is described as "a soft neutral pink with light brown undertones in a milky creme base". Similar to Rue, this one could be her sister in terms of both shade and how it looks on my skin tone!

Bela is described as "a ballet slipper pink in a sheer, milky creme finish". One of my faves, I love this delicate shade!

Chantal is described as "a delicious full-coverage, French, Nude vanilla cream". Although still a nude, this has just enough of color to give it a twist!

Abby is described as "a light lavender cream". Perfect Spring pastel for the bride that wants something just a little less traditional!

Leia is described as "a sheer, opalescent white with flecks of fuchsia, green and gold". One of my all-time faves from Zoya, I love how this beauty is equally gorgeous as a topper over just about any polish of your choice or layered on for a magical finish!

McKenna is described as "a refined pearl in a soft almond". Application-wise, this was a little finicky but I do like the pearlized finish!

Loretta is described as "a light beige with a sheer creme finish". I know a lot of people don't really like sheer finishes, but personally I find them lovely! Great for a French mani or a bit of nail art!

Brighton is described as "a full coverage, diamond holographic soft nude". I like to think of this as an office-friendly holo--a pretty neutral shade until you go out in the sun when the holo really makes it shine!

With flash!

Erika is described as "a soft, girly pale baby pink with lots of fine gold shimmer".The shimmer in this is what really makes this polish special!

  2. I bought Leia and it's amazing how it looks over other polishes. At first I thought they had to be cream polishes but it works over just about everything.
