INFALLIBLE® Pro Glow Foundation ($12.99):
The New Pro-Look of Longwear. It’s Pro With an All-Day Glow. Up to 24HR Foundation.
Discover the new pro finish of longwear: up to 24 hour wear with a hydrating glow. Lightweight and creamy, this long lasting foundation goes on smooth with a glow finish that lasts. With medium coverage, it instantly hides imperfections for a clear complexion. The hydrating foundation with SPF is ideal for normal to dry skin.
I was sent the shade Caramel Beige (#209) and while it looked close enough enough in the tube, it really didn't match my skintone. While I definitely have yellow undertones, this one was too yellow, too warm as the swatches below will show you. Furthermore, the finish probably wouldn't work for my oily, acne-prone skin. I did notice that several shades (12, to be exact) are available for purchase and a couple of them look very promising. So, if you're in the market for a new foundation and have dry skin, particularly during the colder months, give this one a whirl!

I've been a huge fan of the True Match Blendable Compact in True Beige (N5) and have used it for years. So, I had high hopes for this one! I was sent the shade Creme Cafe (W8) and it's a near perfect match for my skintone! My face has always been a little darker than the rest of my body so this worked out very nicely. I love how light, almost airy the feel of this formula is and I really love the coverage--not too heavy since I prefer a lighter coverage. Too heavy makeup and my skin explodes with blemishes! I probably won't use the included sponge but this is definitely going into my purse for casual, every day use. At just under $20, it's pretty affordable too!

These look lovely and dewy!I will definitely ned to check these out!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the info that L'Oreal has expanded the shade range significantly! It says sheer to medium coverage - hmmm. Were you satisfied with the coverage? I'm usually looking for medium to full.
ReplyDeleteI like cushion foundations for travel but my favourite drugstore foundation is Bourjois (Healthy Mix, Air Mat and 123). They are affordable and come with great coverage and staying power.
ReplyDeleteI adore the lumi cushion foundation! But, I also have a hard time finding a decent color match with drugstore options. Most are far too pink on me.
ReplyDeleteI've wanted to try the Lumi Cushion for a while, but the Pro Glow formula sounds promising too.
ReplyDeleteI tried that cushion foundation, it's actually nice
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, no drugstore foundation for me. It's hard to find a good color match without having to mix in a ton of white.
ReplyDeleteI'm oily so I love the L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte!
