Hi, my darlings! I know I have been kinda MIA lately, but before you get too upset with me, please let me plead my case! I've been really, really, REALLY sick and just had no energy to do anything but lie in bed and curse the injustice that is the Universe! =P Dramatic much? Yes, well...=D Anyways, I hope you're as glad as I am when I say that I'M BACK and, since I have Christmas break from work starting shortly, there will be tons of swatches/reviews in our future! YAY!
To start things of, I have for today two polishes from a brand very new to me--Jior Couture. Since I knew very little about the brand until I reached out to them for the purposes of a review, I was completely unbiased, negatively or positively, about the brand when I was chosen to be one of their bloggers. Read on to find out my thoughts on 2 polishes from this brand!
First, I have for you Drumline--a sheer cherry red jelly with small holographic and red hex glitters, which applied more of a raspberry-toned dark pink on me. The formula on this polish was a bit on the thinner side but the application of the glitters was very easy, since they came right out of the bottle with barely any effort! The swatches below show 3 generous coats, topped with 1 thick coat of G&G's HK Girl to finish the look. I did find this polish to be a thinner jelly than I prefer personally and the visible nail line was something I didn't quite like but I do believe this polish would be super pretty layered over a red or even a hot pink creme!
The second of the two I was sent to review is RainSnow--a white crelly with matte glitters in various sizes and sizes. The formula of this polish was on the thicker side and I did have to use the dabbing method to place the larger glitters to my liking--the swatches below show 3 coats, topped with 1 generous coat of G&G's HK Girl to finish the look. I really like how this turned out!
So, there you have it, my darlings! My first review of a brand-new (to me) indie brand--Jior Couture! If you would like to check out Jior Couture's line of polishes, you can find them HERE for the very affordable price of $7.50 for a full-size, 0.5 oz bottle.
What do you think of these two polishes? Which is your favorite? As always, I'd love to hear from you in the comments section below!
Until next time,
<3

I kinda like the sheer pink, will check them out. I know how you feel, I've had the cold from hell all month. :( Here's to getting back to normal soon!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love them both! I almost bought drum line until I saw it was cherry red in the description. I may head back over and buy it anyway since it does show more pink. :-)
