Hi there, my darlings! Can you believe February is almost over and we're almost into March? And it's still pouring rain over here? This is the weirdest winter ever! Anyways, with March being just a skip away, I have our first St. Patty's Day collection for you--today, let's take a look at Faeries and Folklore trio! I also have her Mermaids Can't Dance, which will be her very first polish in a monthly series throughout the year. Fun, right?!
ST. PATTY'S DAY TRIO :
Patty is described as a "glitter topper with medium neon green and small emerald green hexes, and a gold holo blend of various sizes." Fantastic formula and application, no annoying fishing needed here! The swatches below show just 1 generous coat over Zoya Honor, topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. I love the combination of green and golds in this manicure!
Rolled in Gold is described as a "holographic gold microglitter in a clear base." Although you can totally use this one as a topper, I found the formula so lovely that I was able to easily layer it on for full opacity. The swatches below show 3 thin coats, topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. Such a gorgeous gold--looks almost like an antique piece of jewelry to me!
Somewhere Over The Rainbow is described as a "translucent topper with medium and large glitters in the colors of the rainbow." The formula on this was a little thicker than I prefer. The swatches below show just 1 generous coat, topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat on all fingers, except the ring finger which shows 2. You can literally put this topper over any color you want and it would look pretty cool!
Mermaids Can't Dance is a gorgeous teal, full-coverage microglitter. Lovely formula and application--the swatches below show 3 thin coats, topped with 1 generous coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat. What a fantastic way to start the series! I'm in love!
So there you have it, my darlings! The St. Patty's Day trio will be launching Friday, February 26th on Faeries and Folklore's website HERE at 6:00 pm PST/7 pm EST. Stay tuned to Molly's social media for an announcement on the launch of Myth of the Month!
