SMITTEN POLISH Summer 2014 collection : Swatches and Review

Hi there, my darlings! So...this rainy, windy, cold DECEMBER afternoon, I would like to share with you....finally...ahem...my swatches of Smitten Polish's Summer 2014 collection! *facepalm* Yes, yes, I know we're probably closer to 2015 summer than 2014 summer but hey! Wedding. India. You know the deal! Like they say, better late than really late! =P


Before we get to swatches, let's take a quick minute to mention the formula and application of these polishes. Across the board, whether a holo or microglitter, consistent with my experience with Noelie's creations these polishes applied fabulously--smooth and even. No patchiness or streakiness and full opacity at 2 coats, although I used 3 coats, unless mentioned otherwise, for greater depth and vibrancy. The holos are 3 thin coats on their own and the microglitters were topped with 2 thin coats of G&G's HK Girl topcoat. So, without further ado...I mean, really, really...on to swatches!


This is my Tiara! is a silver jelly full of holographic microglitter. Even though this is part of the Summer collection, I think this polish would be fantastic for any kind of celebration!

Jellyfish Rave is a blurple (bluish-purple) jelly full of holographic microglitter. This is hands-down one of my favorites in this collection!

Seahorse Rodeo is a teal jelly full of holographic microglitter. Oh this shade just makes me want to escape to that perfect vacation destination!

Her Name Was Rose is a bright magenta jelly full of holographic microglitter. Another instant favorite!

Nuclear Sunshine is a neon yellow with a linear holographic finish and a definite lime undertone. Shockingly bright!

Safety Dance is a neon orange with a linear holographic finish. This is just a great beach color--bright and fun!

Girl Sprouts is a bright green with a linear holographic finish. A super vibrant shade of green for all of you green lovers out there!
