Glisten & Glow's Pat O'Brien's The Hurricane Nail & Cuticle Balm--Exclusive to the March A Box, Indied from Llarowe

Hi there, my darlings!! Tonight I have a super exciting review for you all! Now, as many of you know Jill of Glisten & Glow and I are very good friends and I have Glisten & Glow products stashed ALL over my home and office! And she just sent over ANOTHER fabulous product to add to my arsenal, her nail & cuticle balm in the exclusive Pat O'Brien's The Hurricane scent which will be exclusive to the March A Box, Indied from Llarowe! SQUEE!! A new fragrance in one of my favorite products? YES, please! Can you tell how excited I am?

Now, many of you may not know this but my real-life, day job is in a high-school/college laboratory--as a result, I come in contact with chemicals and/or am washing my hands constantly. This, in conjunction with near daily swatching and removing of polish with acetone, wreaks havoc on my poor cuticles. In order to maintain proper cuticle and nail health, so my cuticles aren't all raggedy and my nails all brittle in NYC's harsh, pollution-laden winters on top of my job and swatching, moisture is ESSENTIAL. It should come as no surprise I keep G&G's Glis-tics and Cuticle Balms near at hand at all times--in my purse, in my personal drawer at work and nestled next to pillow at home, as well as right next to my light box!

Glisten & Glow's cuticle balm is packed full of nourishing ingredients such as shea butter, jojoba oil, coconut oil, beeswax, sweet almond oil, castor oil, argan oil, vitamin e oil, acai berry botanical extract, grape seed oil, sunflower oil, tea tree oil and fragrance oil of choice. All these ingredients separately are very moisturizing and promote cuticle health but combined, this balm packs quite the punch! These oils have the added benefit of being able to soak right into the actual nail bed and strengthen it from within! Goodbye, painful hangnails and brittle, peeling nails!

Now, as much as I love and appreciate having well-moisturized cuticles and nails, my biggest pet peeve is super greasy, slippery formulas. I just cannot deal with the feeling of oiliness on my hands. Yuck! Here's where Glisten & Glow's nail & cuticle balm scores another major point with me--it's incredibly moisturizing without being greasy! A quick swipe over the cuticles and a little massage into the nails and I'm good to go! And as you can see from the photo below, a little goes a long way--that little smear and a half is all I needed to fully moisturize all 5 fingers!

Let's talk about the fragrance before I sign off! Jill knows I'm really, REALLY picky about scents. I don't like vanilla, I'm not overly fond of minty scents and I really, REALLY don't like anything too strong. So, when I say I love this scent, you know it's one-of-a-kind! Pat O'Brien's The Hurricane is in honor of the famous New Orleans cocktail and it smells as intoxicating as it's namesake! With a luscious blend of orange, lemon, cherry, grapefruit, pineapple and passion fruit, the fragrance is fresh and fruity, without being overpowering. Makes me want a much-needed beach vacation!

So there you have it, my darlings! A Box, Indied's March box will be releasing on February 25th for the price of $50 and shipping is free on Llarowe's website HERE!
