My Ten Friends : 42, Space Opera, Star Bright and Multipass

Hi, my darlings!! I have one more post to share with you all today and I'm very excited about it! Why you ask? Because this brand is completely new to me, as in I have seen these pretties from afar but haven't had a chance to purchase one--yes, I'm talking about the gorgeous glitter creations of My Ten Friends, 4 of which I have reviewed for you today and have since then snuggled into my stash! =D

When I approached Mei-Lynn of My Ten Friends about the possibility of perhaps working together, she excitedly told me she reads my blog regularly and TOTALLY made my day! There's no greater high than hearing that a maker who you've been watching has been watching you too!! WOOT!! And today I present to you the culmination of all our "watching", my very first review for My Ten Friends!! =D

First, I have for you Star Bright--A lovely sheer mint-tinted topcoat with teal, mint and white glitters in various shapes and sizes, including super pretty stars. The application and formula on this polish was fabulous--I didn't have to fish AT ALL for the glitters, they came right on out! The swatches below show 2 smooth coats over 2 coats of Zoya Dove, topped with 1 thin coat of G&G's HK Girl to finish the look. This polish was created in honor of Talia Joy, the vivacious 13-year-old Youtube guru who left the beauty blogger world all too soon--in all honesty, I can say this is a fittingly sparkly polish for a beautiful girl who had such sparkling personality.

Next, I have for you Space Opera--a pretty sheer lilac-tinted topcoat with pink, purple and white hexes in various sizes, plus large gold holographic hexes. Again, no complaints with the application or formula and the swatches below show 2 smooth coats over 2 coats of  OPI Funkey Dunkey, topped with 2 generous coats of G&G's HK Girl to finish the look. Isn't this so pretty? I especially like the pink shimmer that comes through at certain angles!

Third, I have for you 42--a blue-tinted jelly packed full of blue and gold glitter in various shapes and sizes, including large gold and large blue holographic hexes. Again, I had no issues with either the application or formula and the swatches below show 2 smooth coats over 2 coats of  Zoya Dove, topped with 2 generous coats of G&G's HK Girl to finish the look. I absolutely adore the giant holo hexes in this polish!!

Last but definitely not the least, I have for you Multipass--a super bright orange jelly packed full of gold, neon green and neon pink glitters in various shapes and sizes. No issues to report with either the application or formula and the swatches below show 2 smooth coats over 2 coats of  Dior Bikini, topped with 2 generous coats of G&G's HK Girl to finish the look. I usually abhor orange but I actually really like this one! WHAT is the world coming to!? =D

  1. They are all great, I don't love orange either (totally my least fave color) but I like Multipass just for the tie in to The Fifth Element. :D
I never can bring myself to use matte on glitter, but thankfully folks do that for me so I can see the effect. It's nice!

    1. I think yellow is my least favorite color, orange used to be right up there but lately I seem to be enjoying them more!! And I love the matte look with glitters! Possibly even more than the glittery look of them! =P
