NEW YEAR, NEW MAKEUP FROM REVLON!

Hi there, my darlings! Happy New Year! Are you ready to get started with a brand-new, shiny year? Because I know I am! 2018 was a rough year and I can't say I'm sad to see the end of it! Here's to a much better year in 2019...for us all! What better way to start the new year off on the blog than with a few new goodies from Revlon. Take a look at what's new from the brand and what's become a favorite for me already!

AND

PHOTOREADY CANDID ANTIOXIDANT CONCEALER ($9.99 USD/$13.23 CAD)

Ultra blendable, ultra buildable, and infused with caffeine for a built in pick-me-up.

• With: anti-pollution, antioxidant, anti-blue light ingredients
• Without: oils, parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes or fragrances

Hides imperfections and under-eye circles with a seamless natural finish 18 medium buildable, skin tone matching shades.
The foundation is pictured below to th left in the shade Almond, which, as you can see, is definitely not my match--way too much of an orange undertone to it to work for me. It's a shame, really, because I love the feel of this foundation and I have already fallen in love with one of Revlon's foundations in the last year. Guess I'll just have to go pick up my match, right?

Coming to the concealer, the shade Chestnut is pictured on the right and praise the stars! I'm in love! I've been looking for a good concealer that works with my complexion for what seems like forever and finally, FINALLY I find one that I love! Coverage is on point with this baby and I have some pretty serious dark circles. It even hides just about all my dark spots and acne scars. Total win!

KISS CUSHION LIP TINT  ($9.99 USD/$13.23 CAD)

Plush tip for a lush lip! New Revlon Kiss™Cushion Lip Tint delivers a juicy wash of color with a soft cushion tip applicator.

Available in 10 kissable shades.

AND

ULTRA HD MATTE LIP MOUSSE ($9.99 USD/$13.23 CAD)

Creamy lip mousse with intense color and hyper matte finish that lasts up to 8 hours.

Available in 14 kissable shades.

Now, I've already had the pleasure of trying one of the Kiss Cushion Tints and while I like the pigmentation and the color pay-off, glosses are not my favorite. That being said, these are totally shades I would wear and I would likely reach for both the berry-wine and chocolate-brown shades (Wine Trip and Chocolate Pop) in these colder (read:frigid) months.

As for the Lip Mousses, huge thumbs up from me! I love the formula, which goes on much like their namesake, very creamy and pretty much like a mousse. But they dry to the perfect matte finish and the color pay-off is just gorgeous! I'm sending the bright red (Red Hot) to the mother ship while I'm going to play with the dusty mauve (Death Valley)

So there you have it, my darlings! You can grab these and more products in select retailers and drugstores across the US AND Canada, such as Ulta and Walmart.

  4. Love the packaging for the Lip Mousses, though I fear they still may be too drying for my desert-dry lips. The shades look great
