butter LONDON reached out to me with the opportunity to review a few of their latest products--I have a ton of their nail lacquers in my personal stash so you can imagine what my immediate answer was. Of COURSE, I agreed...and very happily! A couple of weeks later, a package arrived on my doorstep and it was full of what I can only say is my other obsession along with polish--lippies! Yup! Seven of their new Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayons!
If you haven't heard the buzz yet, here's what butter LONDON promises about these lip crayons :
Long-lasting, all-in-one formula delivers lacquer-like shine and high-fashion colour.
Why it's Brill:
- All-in-one formula created for the Bezzie Mate on-the-go
- Intense shine of a gloss
- Highly pigmented colour with the full coverage of a lipstick
- Slimline pencil with built-in sharpener is perfect for on-the-go lip lining
- Helps to improve lip moisturization with Mango Seed Oil and Marula Oil
- Formulated to provide antioxidant protection
- Niacinamide helps maintain the skin barrier for smoother, more even lip tone
IMPRESSIONS : Available in 8 luscious shades, let's waste no time beating around the bush--true to their name, these lippies are indeed bloody brilliant! Super pigmented, these go on buttery smooth and feel SO good--you won't have any complaints about sticky or tacky feeling lips! I've worn my favorites out in the sweltering heat of the Indian summer and they lasted all day with only a couple of re-applications--if they can stand up to this extreme temperature, believe me they can last through ANYTHING. But I think the best part for me was that there's a sharpener included as part of the design! When you have a slight hoarding...um...collecting problem like mine with lippies, it's hard enough to find your fave shade on your dresser, let alone a sharpener! It's the little things, people!
