Now, let me begin by saying that I'm not unfamiliar with SiO Beauty, having had the chance to test their genius 3-step Decollete system that targets one of our more neglected parts, the decolletage. You can read all about my thoughts on it HERE.
Having already been quite impressed by the brand, I was quite excited to try the new FaceLift out. As much as I hate to admit it, time stops for no one and I am getting older. While I'm ever thankful for my mother's genes which means that wrinkles are still awhile away, I do notice quite a few fine lines. Particularly around my mouth (because I do laugh A LOT!) and between my brows (because I also tend to do things with single-minded focus and hence frown my way through them, sigh). Now, let's talk about results. In short, I'm impressed...yet again! I'm also really loving that these patches are re-usable. I don't even know how much a face lift would set you back if you went for a surgical procedure but I do know that you can't beat this price! And that too, these are completely painless--a big plus if your pain tolerance is as low as mine. - Start with a CLEAN, dry face. That means, the night that you decide to use your FaceLift, skip your usual moisturizer, serum, etc. Just thoroughly remove makeup and cleanse your face. Allow to completely dry. You don't want anything else between your skin and the patches!
- Remove the plastic film from each and apply the adherent (sticky!) side to your face--the comma-shaped patches to either under your eyes or framing your mouth, the squat T-shaped patch to your forehead and the largest piece across your neck.
- Smooth the patches in place and go off to sleep! Or if you're using it during the daytime, go about your business for ideally the next 6-8 hours. The patches are incredibly light and very comfortable to wear! After awhile, you won't notice they're there. I didn't! I'm one of those people who don't like anything on my face while I'm sleeping and yet I slept through the night just fine!
- When you wake up in the morning (or your desired amount of time has elapsed), simply gently peel the patches off your face and place them, sticky side DOWN, on your enclosed storage shield. Slip the whole thing into a Ziplock bag and you can re-use your patches up to 15 times. Yup! FIFTEEN times! (see below)
- If you need to clean your patches, just wash with water and a mild cleanser. Or wipe down with a water-based wipe and let air-dry completely. They'll be as good as new for much longer!
