Hi there, my darlings! While it's still scorching hot in NYC, there have been a couple of beautiful, breezy days lately. You know what that means! It's almost time for my favorite season of the year--FALL! I love Fall--the cooler temperatures, the boots and scarves fashion, the vampy, sexy colors. With those things to eagerly look forward to, let's take a peek at the "one-coat cremes" from Zoya Nail Polish and Treatment's Urban Grunge collection for Fall 2016!

This collection consists of 6 cremes in rich, pigmented shades. Across the board, I found no major issues to report with the formula. I did find that the finish tended to vary and although you could probably get away with one coat if you tend to paint thicker coats, I preferred two coats to get the perfect finish and full opacity I like. All the swatches below show just 2 easy coats of each polish by itself on all fingers, except for the ring finger which shows just 1 coat for comparison, by itself. No topcoat. Ready for swatches?

August is described as "a full coverage gray like a fine, expensive leather wit mid-ranged, balanced tone". Greys can be dreadfully boring but this one is pigmented enough to be interesting!

Courtney is described as "a deep red beet root shade with a full coverage, and smooth application". This had a more jelly/crelly formula than a true creme but I love the finish AND the shade! Vampy perfection!

Mallory is described as "a full bodied, Prussian blue with deeply saturated color". First of all, let's rejoice in the fact that this luscious shade is NOT a stainer. Secondly, I think this one is a keeper for all-year-round!

Noah is described as "a mid-range taupe evenly balanced between yellow and grey, with a full coverage and smooth application". I was really impressed with the formula of this nude--unlike others, this one is hardly streaky and very flattering on my darker complexion!

Tara is described as "a purple plum with a balanced tone between red and purple. Deeply saturated, full coverage, smooth application". My favorite of this collection, this luscious plum was made for the season!

Wyatt is described as "a true racing green with a deep pigment, full coverage, and smooth application". If you love greens, this rich, deep green will win your heart!

So there you have it, my darlings! The Zoya Urban Grunge cremes are available now on Zoya's website HERE for the price of $10 for a full-size, 0.5 oz bottle or $60 for the set of 6.

Hi there, my darlings! TGIF! I'm a little under the weather today AND I'm flying out of town for a wedding that I've been looking forward to for quite some time, so lots to do today! But before I go, I'd like to share a gorgeous new collection from Adrienne and Sarah of  Fair Maiden Polish--the Feline Catty is "inspired by kitties with cat-itude from favorite Disney movies! Some you loved, some you loved to hate…all so memorable in one way or another! We wanted this collection to be bright, bold and fun - to express how we see each of these vibrant characters and their larger than life personalities!"

The Feline Catty collection consists of 7 bold and bright colors with various finishes consisting of holo, shimmer, chroma and a glitter. Before we get to swatches, let's take a minute to talk about the formula and application of these polishes--I was so incredibly impressed with the formula of each and every one of these beauties! Across the board, each applied so very smoothly and was usually opaque in just 2 easy coats--some went o a bit sheer on the first coat and I thought it would require a third coat but nope! Every single one was opaque in just 2. Unless specifically mentioned, the swatches below, the swatches below show just 2 coats topped with 1 easy coat of Glisten & Glow's HK Girl topcoat to finish the look! Alrighty then, time for swatches!

Dinah (Alice in Wonderland) is described as a "bold magenta with violet flash and turquoise shimmer.". The shimmer in this is to die for and this turned out to be one of my faves in the collection! So perfect for Summer!

Duchess (The Aristocats) is described as a "medium violet purple with strong holo, color shifting shimmer pink-gold-green, and 2 sizes silver holo particles.". This purple holo is not only a strong linear holo but those pops of extra holo make this shine even brighter!

With flash!

Nala (The Lion King) is described as a "light cocoa brown holo with blue flash and 2 sizes turquoise holo hex glitter". I love a good nude holo and this one is even more fabulous with those unexpected pops of turquoise!

With flash!

Lucifer (Cinderella) is described as a "black teal-purple chroma shifter with iridescent gold micro flake". A mesmerizing true chameleon, I couldn't help but take several pics of this multichrome in all its glory!

With flash!

Mattefied with OPI Matte Finish topcoat!

Rajah (Aladdin) is described as a "bright melon orange with blue flash, violet sparkle and 2 sizes gold holo particles". Gorgeous, bright orange and that shimmer! LOVE!

With flash!

Si & Am (Lady and the Tramp) is described as a "vibrant medium blue holo with bright blue flakes and gold sparkles". Another instant fave, I LOVE this shade of blue and the touch of flakies!

With flash!

Scar (The Lion King) is described as a "bold and bright jade green creme with color shifting shimmer red to violet". Man, the shimmers in this collection, I tell you! Just look at this one!

So there you have it, my darlings! The Feline Catty collection is launching tomorrow, June 4th at 11 am CDT/12 pm EST on Fair Maiden Polish's website HERE--prices range from $8.50 to $10 for each full-size, 0.5 oz bottle. Set those alarms!
