GURIN Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser : A Review

Hi there, my darlings! Late night post tonight...but one that is quite appropriate for late night chats. Let's talk tonight about a product that I'm really loving--Gurin's Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser. If you have been following me closely, you know that lately I've been really into essential oils and aromatherapy--a recent post can be found HERE. I've always been a huge fan of scents and fragrances, though I can be picky about the ones I like, and I've come to realize that Aromatherapy is a safe, easy, natural way to relieve the myriad stresses of living and working in NYC.

Before I share my experience with this particular product, let's take a quick peek at the product description :

  • 6 color LED lights (Red, Blue, Green high/low) create a soothing effect with their soft colors
  • Timer - 180 minutes, 120 minutes, 60 minutes, 30 minutes
  • Gurin ultrasonic aromatherapy diffuser with 2.4 million ultrasonic vibrations per second
  • No heating or burning means the properties of the oil are not broken down.runs out.
  • Low energy use. Safe auto off when water level is low

IMPRESSIONS : Right off the bat, let me begin by saying how much I really enjoy this product--when you purchase this product, you get everything you need to begin your first, or latest, aromatherapy experience. The kit includes the mini diffuser, power cord, a measuring cup and a small vial of essential oil (as pictured above).

The diffuser itself is aesthetically quite pleasing--white with small flowers etched on the front, it should work well with most decors. You have the option to use the LED lights if and when you feel in the mood--they are quite soothing but I personally often use my diffuser while sleeping so choose to keep the lights off.

The kit also includes the vial of Essential Oil shown below. While quite a pleasant scent, I would have loved to know exactly what oils are in the mix--unfortunately, the packaging doesn't provide this information. I do use other essential oils in the diffuser though, depending on my mood.

Overall. this product and essential oils in general are pretty much a revelation for me--I didn't realize just how much I would enjoy it. And it's certainly a pretty inexpensive and organic way to de-stress after a long, hard day.

If you would like to add this diffuser kit to your home, you can find it on Amazon HERE for the price of $27.95--a great value for the price!

Have you tried Aromatherapy to change or better your mood? I'd love to hear about your experiences in the comments section below!

Until next time,

  1. I used to use lavender and vanilla to help soothe my girls when they were babies. It always seemed to help calm them down for bedtime.
