NEW EXCLUSIVE LIPSTICK SHADES FROM L'OREAL

Hi there, my darlings! I'm going to start off this post by just saying that this one is an exciting one! Especially for me! Now, I'm not usually a celebrity follower nor do I fan-girl over celebrities such that I HAVE to have every collaboration collection or product that comes out. Because let's be real, there's literally a million and one endorsements nowadays and it's pretty much impossible to collect them all. But I do love lipsticks! And if there's a great lipstick collection, I definitely try to pick a few up. That's why today's post is so exciting--it's all about an exclusive lipstick collection with some of today's top celebrities and one of my favorite, affordable brands--I'm talking about the  L’Oréal Exclusive Colour Riche collections!

Today, I'll be sharing one from the Colour Riche (Nudes) collection--Eva"s Pink--and 4 shades from the La Vie En Rose collection--from left to right, Eva's Pink (703), Jennifer's Pink (705), Doutzen's Pink (707) and Liya's Pink (709)

I'll be honest, I don't wear nudes very often, preferring a bold or bright lip. Moreover, it's always hard to find a flattering neutral shade that doesn't either wash me out or look weird on me. I consider myself a medium or a medium-olive skin tone so I had high hopes for Eva's Nude. And it doesn't disappoint. Just pigmented enough, this creamy shade is just about the perfect neutral for my skin tone! Perfect for those days when you want just a hint of color on your lips, this creamy formula will keep your lips moisturized while you're at it!

The pinks are described as sheer matte but I found them to be quite pigmented and easily buildable. The swatches below show just 2-3 swipes of each color. Furthermore, these mattes are not at all drying--yes, they do transfer a little bit as the formula is a bit more creamy than those budge-proof formulas but they do stay on quite well without having to re-apply multiple times. The trade-off and bonus is that these are very comfortable to wear. Style and comfort in one very affordable tube!

Shown below, from top to bottom, Liya's Pink (709), Doutzen's Pink (707), Jennifer's Pink (705), Eva's Pink (703) and Eva's Nude (610). If I had to pick favorites, I would say Jennifer's Pink and Liya's Pink are totally up my alley!
