This collection consists of 6 gorgeous polishes in Zoya's signature MatteVelvet finish. Across the board, except for one notable exception, I found the formula and application to be fantastic-Zoya sure knows how to do mattes! All the swatches below show just 2 easy coats of each polish by itself, no basecoat, no topcoat. Now this did prove not to be a very good idea in a couple of cases but more on that later. Let's get right to swatches first!
Amal is described as "a classic crimson red with a ruby red pearl fleck". I'm a sucker for reds and I adore this, not just for the Holidays, but year-round!

Aspen is described as "a sparkling arctic white with a micronized diamond pearl fleck". The trickiest to apply, I struggled with streaking and bald patches with this one but it's such a perfect, shimmery white! I think I'm going to try again with a matte basecoat for easier application.
With flash!
Honor is described as "a true emerald green with a tone on tone emerald pearl fleck". A super-pigmented shade, this does have a tendency to stain. Just double up on the basecoat because this green is too gorgeous not to have!
With flash!
Iris is described as "a deep amethyst with a fuchsia pearl fleck". This one was a tad bit thinner than her sisters and I used 3 coats for the coverage that satisfied me but hands down, this is my favorite of the six. This shade of purple is stunning!
With flash!
Sue is described as "a soft champagne gold with a multi-hued oyster shell pearl fleck". Such a gorgeous shade for any complexion and perfect even for the office or more formal occasions!
With flash!
Yves is described as "a deep sapphire that's midway in between indigo and royal blue with a blue pearl fleck". Another super-pigmented shade, this one has a tendency to stain too--again, use a good basecoat before applying, because c'mon, what a fabulous shade of blue, right?!
