Hi there, my darlings! Is it still February? Yes...it's still February and this has been a brutally cold winter in NYC so you can't blame me if I'm already daydreaming about Spring. And Milani Cosmetics has created an amazingly beautiful Spring collection, full of bright, vibrant shades of makeup that all but screams "HAPPY SPRING!". Today, I'd like to show you their 3 newest blush shades--the Rose Powder Blushes in Romantic Rose, Coral Rose and Tea Rose.
Before I show you each individual blush, can we talk about the design and packaging for a quick second? How gorgeous is the gold case and the rose-shaped detailing in the actual product? They looked so elegant, so luxurious I almost didn't want to touch them! But once I swatched one, I was hooked!
Romantic Rose is neutral rose pink shade in a smooth powder formula. A beautiful pink that would give the apples of your cheeks just a touch of natural-looking color!
Coral Rose is a bright coral pink in a smooth powder formula. Since I tend to gravitate towards brighter colors, it wasn't surprising that this one immediately became my favorite! The coral is bright enough to show up on my skin tone without looking clownish or amateur.
Tea Rose is a dusty pink shade in a smooth powder finish. Out of the three, I found this one a little bit difficult to blend--the formula was a little too powdery and the fallout was greater than the other two. The shade, though, is quite flattering!
